Smorgasburg, a market like no other
With the arrival of the sun invading the streets of New York City, I advise all curious and lovers of culinary specialties, to take a family walk at the Smorgasburg, the Brooklyn Bridge Park market on the side of pier 5 at the edge of the hudson river.
Smorgasburg is an outdoor market that opens its doors from April to November when the sunny days are back. A Street food market as we like them in New York with people and good food. It is a great idea to bring together in one and only place small stands offering dishes from all over the world. There are so many choices that it is very difficult to choose.
A very pleasant place at mealtime!
If you have the opportunity to go there at mealtime, you can sit on one of the many tables or on the grass to enjoy your meal with a magnificent view of the Manhattan skyline. Tacos, burgers, donuts, lemonade, ice creams, burritos, burger ramen, grilled anchovies, Ice Cream Sandwich…. In this culinary market, there are more than a hundred stalls with original recipes, cooked with quality products that come mostly from New York. A wide variety of vendors, delicious food, and an amazing atmosphere, the lobster sandwich with its house sauce is a delight. The only downside is that some prices charged by traders are relatively high. The atmosphere is very friendly and family! An experience to live during your stay in New York.
