Where can you collect your Barcelona transport card?

You can pick up your Hola BCN card directly upon arrival at the airport in both terminals between 8:30 am and 20:30 pm or at the airport metro station until 21:XNUMX pm.
If you arrive on a late flight, you will need to collect your transport card the next day at one of the collection points in the city center:
- Plaza Cataluña n ° 17-S: (near the Hard Rock Cafe and the giant "i" with the underground escalator) daily from 8:30 am to 20:30 pm.
- Santos Station: Plaza Paisos Catalans, soft on the days from 8 am to 30 pm.

Validity and restrictions
Your Hola BCN is activated the first time you use it.
This means that if you have a 72-hour tourist travel card and you make your first trip on January 1 at noon, you will have until January 4 at noon to travel for free.
Night bus and Hola BCN
Unfortunately, the Hola Bcn card is not valid for night buses as they are operated by a private company.

Remember that from Sunday to Thursday the Barcelona metro closes from 00:00 to 05:00 and from 02:00 to 05:00 on Fridays.
On Saturday night (to be clear, the night between Saturday and Sunday), the metro is open all night!
