The 230 Fifth and its panorama that will not leave you indifferent
A few steps from the Flatiron Building, discover the 230 Fifth, cocktails, good music and crazy panorama. All the ingredients for a great evening and a party. It feels like a movie, with New York at our feet. It is one of New York's most famous rooftops. There are more tourists than New Yorkers there. The bar terrace offers a magnificent panorama of Manhattan and especially of the Empire State Building, located only 10 blocks away (see photo below).
Enter, head to the back and take the elevator to the top floor. First, you enter the Penthouse Lounge. This very trendy Lounge is huge (capacity up to 600 people). The Penthouse Lounge is very bright, from the Lounge we already have an impressive view of Manhattan. I really enjoyed the Chic and relaxed atmosphere.
Best time to go to 230 Fifth
You can go there during sunset to take wonderful photos and enjoy the Happy Hour (it's until 20pm in my memory). Once the sun goes down, put your device away and party the night away.
In winter, if you want to use the terrace, we will provide you with a blanket! Upstairs, you will find a very classy lounge bar. The decor is original and the atmosphere is good. The prices are however quite high and the dress code is strict. Correct outfit required ! Count around $ 15 for a Cocktail, $ 10 for a Beer and $ 8 for a Soda.
Good to know
- People under 21 cannot enter, even at the opening (16 p.m.).
- During the weekends it gets very busy and there is often a lot of waiting at the bar especially after 23pm.
- For all those who have a relatively tight budget, you have the possibility of going up on the roof of the bar without consuming any drink… (the entry is free) :).
